Our standard deliveries are FREE
of CHARGE and are undertaken Mondays to Saturdays inclusive (except
Bank Holiday(s) and other Holidays). The precise day is dependant
on your postcode. This can be viewed by clicking on the DELIVERY
LOOK-UP link on a product's details page and entering the first
two digital of your postcode. See our Deliveries section
for other details of our delivery service(s).
Whilst we endeavour to deliver all items within
the time scale given at the time of sale, we are reliant on third-party
carriers and can not be held liable for any delays and/or loss
caused by a delay. |
All Home Entertainment products
( DVD, Hi-Fi and Television's up to and including 37" ) that
are in stock at the time of order will be dispatched via one of
our five specialist carriers for delivery within 72-hours from
date of receipt of order. We will inform you of the stock availability
at the time of order. Should the item be out of stock when you
order the item, you have the choice to either cancel the order
or select an alternative item. If an item is out of stock, we will
order the item and inform you when it is in stock and arrange delivery
at that point. Should the manufacturer be out of stock or awaiting
delivery of the item you wish to order you may at that point cancel
the order or select an alternative product. Should no one be available
to take delivery the carrier will leave a card with details of
who to contact to rearrange delivery.
We can arrange for Home Entertainment Products
to be delivered to your place of work. Please ask for details.
The carrier will require a proof of ID and will only leave the
item with the person named on the delivery note. |
All large items, Domestic Appliances
(Washers, Refrigeration, Dishwashers, Cookers) and Televison 40"
and above are delivered by one of our specialist carriers within
3-10 working days, subject to stock availability (not inc. Sundays,
Bank Holiday(s) and other Holidays). Depending on the post code area
you are in and the day on which you order the item, this may take
longer. You can check on the delivery day for your area on the products
page.

If an item is out of stock when we order the item
the manufacturer will inform us of an expected delivery date. Should
an item be out of stock when ordered you may cancel the order or
select an alternative item.
All items must be signed for on delivery,

credit check any details given to us during a transaction and

price, either due to a typographical error or as a result of an error
in pricing information given to us by either a manufacturer or supplier,
we have the right to refuse or cancel the order. We will inform you
of this error and offer you the option to cancel the order. Should
your credit card have been debited before the error has been noted
we will immediately refund all monies to the value of the incorrect
price and delivery charges where applicable. |

HOME ENTERTAINMENT
PRODUCTS - all products can be repaired, in the event
of a breakdown, by authorized service agents. For a list of
agents in your area contact the manufacturer, the telephone
number of whom is supplied with your instructions. Please note:
you may need to pay a call-out charge.
DOMESTIC APPLIANCES -
all products are serviced by the manufacturer. Documents on how
to contact the manufacturer are detailed in the your instructions
supplied with your appliance.
NB: It is always
worth remembering that should you have any problems with your product,
you should first consult your instruction manual, supplied with
your item, as 'faults' can sometimes be rectified without the need
for a service call.

In the event of a product being faulty when
delivered simply contact our customer service department by using
our CONTACT US Page to email or telephone,
and we will arrange for the faulty item to be collected and a replacement
item to be dispatched. The returned item should include ALL accessories
including instruction manuals, leads, remote controls, batteries,
software discs and any other item sent with the product. Should
ANY accessory item supplied NOT be returned, we reserve the right
to charge your credit/debit card for the full amount/value of replacement
item(s). To facilitate this procedure we will need to take your
credit/debit card details prior to booking the collection or replacement
We advise that you should keep all packaging
for a minimum seven days from receipt of the item(s) as should
a fault develop during this period you will need the packaging
for returning the item. The onus is on yourself to ensure that
any returned item(s) is suitably packed. Packing an item(s) in
packaging not designed for the item(s) can result in damage to
the item(s) for which we would need to make a charge, once we
have assessed the damage.
Should a product develop a fault during its guarantee
period, you can either follow the procedure in the After Sales
section, or return the goods to us by a reputable carrier, at your
expense. The item will be repaired free of charge during the guarantee
period. To return any item(s) a carrier will require the item to
be securely packaged. The full cost of a service will be charged
if no fault is found with your product

In the event of a product being damaged when
delivered please contact us as soon as possible using our CONTACT
US Page to email our Customer Service dept
We will arrange for a replacement item(s) to
be dispatched and the damaged item(s) collected. The damaged
item(s) must be packed in the original packaging where possible
or in suitable packaging to minimise further damage to the item(s)
during transit.
We reserve the right to charge an amount to your
credit/debit card on the return of the damaged item(s) should it
be judged that the item was damaged after delivery (i.e when attempting
to un-pack the item). We can not accept any responsibility or liability
for item(s) reported as damaged to us after two working days.
All Video Tapes, DVD Discs (recordable and playback),
Camcorder Tapes, Mini Discs and Software supplied with the item(s)
must be returned un-opened. All 'FREE GIFTS' received with an item
must be returned

The screen of an LCD-TFT monitor
is made up of thousands of pixels; each pixel has it's own little
transistor, which can fail, resulting in a light, dark or coloured
dot on the screen. The technology of today's production CAN NOT
gaurantee a 100% fault-free screen display. You should be aware
that, before purchasing an LCD-TFT Screen TV, this isolated 'error'
may occur. There is a commonly accepted tolerance level of 'failed
pixels' and LCD-TFT monitors can only be returned or replaced should
the number of 'failed pixel' be above the manufacturers guidelines.
These guidelines do vary from one manufacturer to the other and
you should check with a manufacturer as to their tolerance levels
before making your choice |

When ordering an American Style
Side-by-Side Fridge Freezer please use the measurements provided
on each products page to ensure that the entrance-way(s) to your
premise are sufficiently wide enough to be able to pass the item
through without scratching marking or otherwise damaging the item.
We CAN NOT except items back that have been damaged in this way.
Our driver(s) maybe able to remove the packaging
outside the premises to help with the delivery, BUT this is down
to the individual discretion of the driver and is NOT part of
our standard delivery service.
Should the item NOT fit through the entrance-way(s)
to your premises we reserve the right to charge you for the return
of the item |

For DAB Radio and FREEVIEW items
(i.e. Digiboxes and IDTV) we provid a FREE service
for checking on signal coverage and reception in YOUR area.
This is available by clicking the link on each products details
page. We CAN NOT be held responsible nor liable
should you order an item and your area is NOT covered.
In these instances we reserve the right NOT to
accept the item back for return and/or credit.

accessory is missing from your order, please contact our Customer

US Page. No liability will be accepted for missing items after

All complaints on any subject
should be e-mailed to the relevant department on our CONTACT
US Page. We will endeavour to respond to your complaint within
five working days.
Each complaint will be dealt with individually
and we will try to resolve the complaint within the shortest
timescale possible. We aim to deal with all complaints and bring
to a satisfactory conclusion within seven working days.

We take debt and the recovery
of any amount of money owe to us very seriously. We will always
try to recover any debt in an amicable way, but should you fall
into debt with Electrical Discount UK we WILL pursue the matter
through a Debt Recovery Agency. The DRA we use is Progress Financial
Recovery Limited of Kirkham, Preston. All your details will be
passed to them so that they may recover any debt owed to us. |
